Who am I behind the camera? I have always been the (annoying) friend with the camera during any event! That was a long time ago though! My son was born in 2012 and we got newborn pictures and 1st birthday pictures done. They were great from a friend who was a professional photographer. My husband saw dollar signs and bought me my own NICE camera! I have been in love with photography ever since! Just on a purely amateur/ personal level. I have taken birthday photos of my now two kids, family photos in the blooming orchards, and the occasional maternity and engagement photos for friends. I felt that the background made the photo. I felt I got lucky, not that I was any good! My son will be 8 years old soon and I have had an epiphany! I can do better! I have been doing better! I will try to expand my horizon and personal comfort zone to make others happy. That is what I love about photography. It makes others happy. If I can take 100 photos to get one good one to put a smile on their face, I will.
